We are a family owned and operated Venezuelan restaurant. Our love for the flavors of our land inspired us to open Arepa House DC so that we may share recipes that have been passed down for generations. We are excited to bring Authentic Street Vendor food from Venezuela to the Nations Capitol. Our arepas are gluten-free and can cure up to 90% of hangovers, pair them with our in-house made sauces and you will want more than one. Our goal is to provide you with an experience that makes you feel like you are eating in Venezuela.We cannot wait to have you experience our little piece of Venezuela in Washington D.C.

Venezuela is a country on the northern coast of South America with diverse natural attractions. Along its Caribbean coast are tropical resort islands including Isla de Margarita and the Los Roques archipelago. To the northwest are the Andes Mountains and the colonial town of Mérida, a base for visiting Sierra Nevada National Park. Caracas, the capital, is to the north.
